Good evening ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to The Australian Gold Mid-Weekly Review! Every Thursday, we knock on your mailbox to deliver the latest insights into the precious metals and mining market!

Gold is currently trading around the US$4,500/oz mark, while silver sits near US$76/oz as investors continue to react to stalled negotiations between the United States and Iran.

At the same time, sustained strength in oil prices is once again beginning to reignite inflation fears globally. Oil is currently trading near US$98/bbl following continued supply disruptions linked to the Strait of Hormuz blockage, one of the world's most critical energy trade routes.

And naturally, markets are beginning to respond.

Rate hike probabilities for December have now climbed above 40%, with investors increasingly questioning whether central banks may be forced to remain tighter for longer if energy-driven inflation pressures persist into year-end.

Meanwhile, the ASX All Ordinaries Gold Index experienced one of its sharpest pullbacks in recent weeks, falling to 15,718 points, representing a decline of roughly 1,500 points from recent highs.

The key question now becomes: Is this simply a healthy correction after an extraordinary rally in gold equities, or is the market beginning to price in a more challenging environment ahead for precious metals producers?

And that's it! Thank you so much for dropping by The Australian Gold Mid-Weekly Review! Here at GoldHub, we continue to monitor developments across precious metals, energy markets, and global macroeconomic conditions very closely as volatility begins to return across financial markets.

Till then, see you next Thursday!
